lonely, lost, but at what cost
*Vulnerable* everyone has their own definition or emotion that is accessed through the remembrance of one’s own experience in their personal state of vulnerability. More often than not the moments where we find ourselves at our most vulnerable, happen to be the most prevalent moments in our collective memories. For “lonely, lost, but at what cost” I accessed my own memories of vulnerability, and with the help of a talented lyricist, I was able to fully bleed my emotions onto the paper. The association between the simplistic, yet emotionally governing illustrations, and the overwhelmingly powerful text between the covers of the poem itself encourages the viewer to imagine their own vulnerabilities in place of my own.
