Rana the Piranha

Rana the piranha by virtue of itself, is made to represent the lessons that mothers may teach their children at a young age. While still being a children's book at a glance, I took the liberty during my creative process to pour my heart and soul into the intended theme, the overwhelming love I feel for my own mother. Rana’s character is heavily based on her and, as a matter of fact the lessons Rana teaches are the same essential life practices engraved into my own head by my very own Rana during my guppy stages.
